WHEN MINDFULNESS MEETS SUCCESS

“A way of achieving goals through self-introspection”

Description:

This book is the result of my personal improvement which is also a work in progress.
This book was born out of my search for meaning that can inspire others to improve themselves and pursue spiritual paths.

If you feel something is missing in your life or if some demons are haunting you,
then this book is for you. I endeavor to give the reader what took me years to master: a strong foundation for living an optimum life.
I am focusing on helping as many people as possible get out of their personal swamp in my own tiny way, i.e., based on personal experience.

Using a gradual approach, I explain how to detoxify your subconscious.
Once your mind reaches some clarity, you focus on improving yourself on a grand scale, like finding your passion and your mission, or on a smaller scale, like improving some aspects of your personality. The next step is going deeper into your personality by studying various religions and traditions.

Summary:

In summary, you start with self-improvement and broaden your scope to a more spiritual life.
In many chapters, you will find questionnaires that will help you pinpoint your strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations. You are encouraged to make copies of them.

Chapter One:

In chapter one, we examine ourselves closely and explore our weaknesses; some people call this shadow work.

Chapter Two:

Then, in chapter two, the luckier among you will have a relatively clear idea of what to do in life.
By all means, follow your passion.

Chapter Three:

Chapter Three is a corollary to Chapter Two. Everyone has a strong need for self-improvement.
We offer techniques to improve memory and sharpen your mind.
Armed with an improved mind, chapter four helps you improve your social skills and several aspects of your daily life.

Chapter Four:

Chapter 4 is a corollary to chapter 3. Everyone has a strong need for self-improvement. We offer techniques to improve memory  and sharpen your mind.
Some of the self-improvement goals are better health,a further education, performing better at work, and improving relationships.

Chapter Five:

Chapter five shows that you need to control your ego to reach self-realization, also known as enlightenment.
As you delve deeper within yourself.

Chapter Six and Seven:

Chapters six and seven describe the monotheist and Eastern religions like Buddhism and Hinduism.
I show why Eastern traditions are more appropriate to reach self-realization.

Chapter Eight:

In chapter eight, I showcase three contemporary thinkers basing their philosophies on Eastern traditions: Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, and Jon-Kabat-Zin.

Chapters Nine and Ten:

Chapters nine and 10 talk about the three essential philosophies of Asia.

Throughout the book, the common thread to have a successful life is mindfulness, the ability to be aware of your internal and external world.

Success, in this case, does not necessarily mean becoming rich but instead reaching a state of inner peace no matter what the circumstances you encounter.
